G&D SMART / Professional outdoor lighting
PROFESSIONAL INSTALLER KIT · 24V · 300FT
At approximately 300ft of total illuminated roofline, system layout becomes more important than package length. G&D SMART reviews the project as multiple illuminated segments, cable paths and protected supply branches, then matches the fixture, track, GC08 capacity, wiring and signal requirements.
Do not treat 300ft as a continuous-run specification. The final branch architecture depends on actual fixture load, spacing, wire gauge, connector losses, controller location and measured voltage under load.
Plan multiple roofline directions, peaks, garages and unlit transitions from one documented system drawing.
Confirm 350W versus 600W GC08 requirements only after fixture and branch loads are calculated.
Keep fixture, connector, track and controller revisions recorded so future replacement parts can be matched.
Plan approximately 300ft of illuminated permanent roofline with a 24V system for professional installers in the United States and Canada.
Project configuration: this kit is a starting framework for a reviewed component list. The final quotation identifies the exact models, quantities and packaging for your roofline drawing.
| Selection | Configuration |
|---|---|
| Target illuminated roofline | 300ft; measure unlit extension gaps separately |
| System voltage | 24V DC; match fixtures and GC08 output voltage |
| Fixture options | C5204B / C5205 / P23A |
| Mounting profiles | C5204 Profile A / B, C5205 Profile A, P23 Profile |
| Control box | GC08 24V, 350W / 600W options; capacity, branch limits and box quantity follow the approved load plan |
| Control platform | Controller, firmware and App selection |
| Component | Selection | How quantity is confirmed |
|---|---|---|
| Roofline fixtures | C5204B / C5205 / P23A | Selected spacing, illuminated segments and approved fixture count |
| Mounting track | C5204 Profile A / B, C5205 Profile A, P23 Profile | Measured track runs, cut plan, corners and fixing method |
| Power and control | GC08 24V | Calculated load, individual output limits and branch protection |
| Extension cables | SH-M12A extension cable | Controller-to-roofline distance and measured unlit gaps |
| Connections and branches | SH-M12A pigtails / Y-cable / T-cable | Approved branch map, pinout and connector locations |
| Signal support | SFQ0401 signal amplifier | Included where the approved signal layout requires it |
C5204B supports published 4, 6, 9 and 12-inch spacing options, plus single-piece format. C5205 and P23A list 9-inch spacing and a standard 5-piece string. Match the chosen fixture to its own profile.
Total illuminated length is not a guaranteed continuous-run distance. Fixture count, cable length, wire gauge, connector losses and the branch plan determine voltage-drop and power-injection requirements.
The project review confirms model and revision, fixture/track/cable quantities, GC08 capacity and output architecture, signal support, power-injection points, applicable documentation and packaging. Kit-specific counted BOM and layout drawings are released for the approved configuration.

The counted BOM and configuration drawing are confirmed before supply. Include the exact fixture model/revision, spacing in inch, fixture count per segment, matching profile model and stock length, GC08 voltage/capacity and permitted output loads.
Specify each extension length in ft, wire gauge in AWG, conductor material and core count, connector family, male/female ends, pin assignment and electrical/environmental ratings. Confirm these against the supplied fixture revision; connector appearance or voltage alone does not establish compatibility.
The final drawing identifies the control-box location, each protected supply branch, SPI data route, illuminated segment, unlit extension in ft, connector location, and any required power-injection point or signal amplifier. Supply branches and data outputs must be shown separately. Do not infer a fixed branch count from kit length.
Record model/revision, supply voltage, fixture count, spacing in inch, AWG, extension lengths in ft, connector configuration, maximum-load mode and brightness, ambient temperature, measured branch current, first/last fixture voltage, thermal stabilization and light/color consistency. Calculated voltage drop and engineering layout examples are separate from measured performance.
