GC08 Configurable Permanent Lighting Control Box

Evaluate this product as part of a complete permanent outdoor lighting system, branded range or OEM/ODM program.

Your preferred configuration

Optional preferences for your inquiry. Compatibility and availability are confirmed during review.

Product information

GC08 brings power conversion and lighting control into one configurable enclosure platform. Select voltage and capacity with the roofline fixture family, then confirm individual output limits, branch protection, cable pinout and software requirements for the project.

Standard Configuration Matrix

Output Voltage 350W 600W
12V GC08-12-350 GC08-12-600
24V GC08-24-350 GC08-24-600
36V GC08-36-350 GC08-36-600
48V GC08-48-350 GC08-48-600

How to Select GC08

  1. Choose the required system voltage: 12V, 24V, 36V or 48V.
  2. Choose 350W or 600W based on the approved project load and branch architecture.
  3. Match the roofline light, track, cable set and signal accessories to the selected system.
  4. Confirm the required control platform, firmware and App route for the project.

Current Roofline System Match

  • 12V: C5204-A
  • 24V: C5204-B / C5205 / P23A
  • 36V: C5204-C
  • 48V: C5206

GC08 as the Control Hub of the Complete System

GC08 should be evaluated as part of the complete permanent lighting architecture rather than as a standalone controller. The selected enclosure, power stage, branch layout, signal path, light family and software route are reviewed together before production.

System Layer Typical G&D SMART Component Project Decision
Power & control GC08 12V / 24V / 36V / 48V, 350W or 600W Voltage, capacity, output architecture and protection
Cable distribution SH-M12A extension, Y and T cables Branch layout, connector pinout and cable length
Signal management SFQ0401 signal amplifier where required Signal distance and placement based on the approved layout
Roofline fixtures C5204 / C5205 / P23A / C5206 Voltage, spacing, light engine and track
Software layer Selected control-platform route Controller, firmware, App functions and branding requirements

Hardware Platform, Software Route

GC08 is the hardware platform. G&D SMART treats the control software as a separate project layer so the selected controller, firmware and App requirements can be reviewed without presenting one software route as universal for every customer.

Available project routes can include the G&D SMART control platform, WLED-compatible control, Surplife, Tuya-based control and XLights-oriented integration. Actual compatibility depends on the controller, firmware, fixture protocol, channel order and electrical architecture selected for the project.

Engineering & Validation

For the selected GC08 configuration, confirm the final AC input range, output-channel architecture, individual branch limits, protection functions, connector layout, enclosure/environmental rating, firmware compatibility and certification scope in the project documentation. General G&D SMART reliability evidence does not replace GC08 model-specific validation.

Project-Specific Configuration

GC08 is a configurable control-box platform. The project specification confirms the AC input range, output-channel architecture, connector layout, enclosure/IP rating, protection functions, dimensions, certification scope and firmware compatibility for the selected voltage and capacity.
