G&D SMART / Professional outdoor lighting

System Planning

Plan the system in this order: choose voltage first, then fixture family, GC08 capacity, track and cable layout, and finally the required control-platform route.

1. Choose System Voltage

2. Choose GC08 Capacity

GC08 is available in 350W and 600W versions for each voltage architecture.

350W vs 600W GC08 Control Box Guide

3. Match the Complete BOM

Confirm the selected roofline light, model-matched track, cable and connector family, signal accessory requirements and final branch layout as one project configuration.

4. Confirm Software Route

Control platform, firmware and App capability should be confirmed against the final GC08 revision selected for the project.

Start small. Evaluate the system. Build your range.

You can begin with a customer need and an installation example. Use these three stages to organize your first conversation with G&D SMART.

1. Choose an evaluation direction

For track-based permanent lighting, explore C5204 and C5205. For landscape projects, start with the fixture type: spot, pathway, flood or wall wash.

2. Define a representative sample

Agree the light module, mounting, control box and cables needed for a small demonstration. Confirm the sample contents and commercial terms before ordering.

3. Prepare a pilot installation

Evaluate assembly, light effect, controls and service access. Record the approved parts and wiring plan before repeating the configuration across more projects.
