Permanent outdoor lighting / System architecture

Choose the voltage architecture first. Build the complete system around it.

G&D SMART organizes permanent roofline projects by system voltage. After the voltage and fixture platform are selected, choose GC08 capacity, mounting, cabling and control requirements for the project.

A professional permanent-lighting system is more than the light.

Use the same planning sequence for every project so the fixture, control box, installation hardware and software are specified together.

  1. 01

    1. System voltage

Select 12V, 24V, 36V or 48V according to the approved fixture platform and project architecture.

  2. 02

    2. Roofline light

Select the fixture family and spacing that match the installation and product strategy.

  3. 03

    3. GC08 capacity

Choose 350W or 600W after confirming the project load, branch layout and cable plan.

  4. 04

    4. Mounting & wiring

Match the track, extension cables, connectors and signal accessories to the selected fixture family.

  5. 05

    5. Control & software

Confirm the control platform, firmware route, App requirements and installer workflow for the final project revision.

Voltage options

Compare the four roofline system architectures.

The voltage identifies the electrical architecture. GC08 350W and 600W are capacity options inside each voltage platform.

GC08

GC08 capacity is selected after the voltage.

Every 12V, 24V, 36V and 48V architecture is planned with 350W and 600W GC08 capacity options. Final capacity should be checked against fixture count, total load, branch distribution, cable length and the installation layout.

What should be confirmed before a system is quoted?

A voltage page is a system starting point, not a substitute for project engineering. Confirm the actual installation inputs before the BOM is finalized.

  • Target application and roofline layout
  • Fixture family, spacing and total light count
  • Voltage and total calculated load
  • Number of branches and cable lengths
  • Track, connectors and signal-accessory requirements
  • Control platform, firmware and App requirements
